Microneedling is a minimally invasive tehcnique which provides activation of fibroblasts at the reticular dermis layer. This mechanical stimulation of the tissue results in thickening of the tissue and subsequent skin tightening. The activation of cellular protein production allows for more healthy looking skin.  Other options for the skin include fractional laser treatments for similar treatment options.
