I am 5 weeks post op, and my skin is just crazy itchy. What can I do to make this itching stop?

I’m 5 weeks post op from my BBL and Ive been experiencing some extreme itching. It’s as though someone is taking a little needle Nd stabbing me to where I feel a sharp itchy feeling all around my tummy, definitely my back, my hips, and my butt. I thought it was my garment so I took off but I would still get itchy attack episodes as I call them. There is No bumps or rashes my skin is just itchy and it’s driving me crazy. What can I do to make this itching crisis stop? PLEASE HELP ME IM CRYING!

Hello, thank you for your question! Lipo itch is normal after procedures involving liposuction. You can take an antihystamine like Benadryl to releave the itching. Good luck!

Thanks for the question and provided information as well.
You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, itching is normal. You can take an antihystamine to help with this symptom.
If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon.
