Hello. It has been exactly two years since my breast augmentation and I love the work but I'm concern about my left breast implant because when I am not wearing a bra and I am laying down or moving side to side I can feel the implant moving. Is this normal??

Answer: I can feel my implant moving. Is this normal? Hello Nickkie, Thank you for your question. It is normal to be able to feel your implant moving. Often with the passing of time, the scar tissue that forms around the implant can stretch a bit giving the implant more room to move about in the pocket. Changes in weight and skin elasticity can also affect how the implant fills the pocket, and hence the ability for it to move around a bit. If you have a concern, it wouldn't hurt to see your plastic surgeon to reassure you that your implant is still in place. Most likely there is nothing to be concerned about.
