I am looking to widen my face since it's too long and narrow. I need lateral projection to balance the height with some width. I hear the ZSO basically cuts the zygo process of the temporal bone and projects it outwards or just moves one side of it out and reattaches it. Is this the best option? Or would an implant in the same area work? I'm looking for primarily lateral projection/to widen the appearance of my face -- not forward/anterior projection.
