Compression Garment Unbearable. (photo)

I am 6 days post op. I had no bruising but I did have swelling. Surgeon told me not to wear the Faja for 3 days and now that I've been wearing it, it is unbearable. I have actually started bruising... I barely talk cause it is hard to breathe, I can't sleep with it, it cuts into my ribs and when I take it off my ribs are sooo sore. What do I do? I won't be seeing my surgeon till Thursday.

Some doctors require this testing as we do in our office for the staff/OR as part of our standard protocol.  I suggest full testing prior to liposuction. I treat many HIV positive patients without any concerns.  It does not effect the outcome or the treatment.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I would highly advise against heat but this opinion may not be shared by others. You likely have diminished protective sensation in the treated area and could easily burn yourself. Enhanced blood supply form the heat could also increase the potential for seroma or hematoma. Please consult...
