I'm 24. Tooth #30 is crowned & suffers chronic abscess (~5 years) from root canal failure. I don't want to live with a dangerous infection but I'm terrified of extracting and implantation. When I was young, the primary molar on that same side had to be removed. If this tooth also goes I'm scared of what will happen to my already horrid cross bite and TMJ. Endodontist couldn't guarantee anything about re-treatment as he's skeptical of how much bone remains under the tooth.
