While almost every dentist will say they can do a smile makeover, most don't have the training or experience to deliver what some patients desire. Most dentists can make the average dental patient satisfied, but the truly capable dentists know what is missing here. If they can't understand you just from these photos, I think you need to find another office. I assume a diagnostic waxup was not used? That would have brought your concerns up prior to starting the case. The temporary prototype smile should be an exact replica of the planned finals, so if you hated the trial smile, it could have been fixed before the finals

So sorry to hear you arent happy with your veneers. I am assuming that the picture you sent of what you wanted to look like, is from someone you know, or from a random photo online. Those teeth are vety nice. The problem I have in trying to help you, is I dont know what YOUR teeth looked like before treatment. I can make some some small suggestions regarding your current veneers- the most obvious is ths overall size and length of your laterals ( 2nd teeth from center). They are too similar in length to your center teeth, compared to "the desired teeth". The 4 front teeth also need to be more rounded on the biting edges to be 'softer' in appearance. A preop of what was original may help ins seeing what your doctors limitations might have been
