Can I wear my old retainer with two new veneers on my peg laterals? (Photos)

Hi I have temporary veneers in on my Peg laterals but only have my old retainer. I feel my teeth shifting and won’t get a retainer till the real veneers come next month. Can I wear my old retainer to stop from shifting? The retainer doesn’t fit that well with the two new veneers
