Hello, and thanks for your question! CO2 lasers are appropriate for most skin sensitivities. You should look for someone who is experienced in adjusting the laser settings so that you achieve a great outcome. If your skin is sensitive, be prepared for a longer recovery period--you might also find that your skin is quite itchy during the healing process. You could add topical Platelet Rich Plasma to speed up the healing process and increase your skin's resilience.

While the CO2 laser is among the stronger lasers, it can typically be used safely on many types of skin provided the provider is experienced in adjusting the intensity to suit the patient's skin type. If you have a sensitive skin type, the intensity of the laser may have to be reduced. We always recommend booking a consultation to determine which course of action is best for you. Always go to only the most experienced providers for treatments such as this. CO2 done improperly can lead to complications of the skin.
