Hi all - looking for some help here. I have a complex medical history with my nose. I had a septorhinoplasty in 2013 (to correct an earlier deviation. In 2016 and 2017, I sustained separate nasal fractures due to sports accidents. Each time, I had a fracture reduction. I sustained a heavy hit to the nose, with blood coming from it. This caused a deviated septum and breathing trouble. Is there a danger in a corrective septoplasty now given that some septum was removed in the original procedure?

Hello Sir!Thank you for the photos you shared but unfortunately it is not possible to say much from the photos. In order to fix your breathing issue you may need a septoplasty /or/ full rhinoplasty with rib cartilage reconstruction.
Performing a septoplasty can certainly change the structure of the nose. If the septoplasty is too aggressive, this can create weakness in the nose structure and in the worse case scenario, cause collapse.
