Can I get dental bonding after botched IPR?

Question

I Had some IPR on the wrong teeth and there is a space when I put my aligners on. The space close naturally when I'm not using them for a while but it don't look straight. Can bonding prevent tooth movement and keep my teeth straight? The space is really small (0.5 mm). Is difficult to do bonding between teeth? (Lateral and central incisors)

It is hard to say without photos and more information. Bonding in many cases can be done to close a space between teeth. If done properly it may make teeth appear more straight as well depending on the situation. I don't feel it will keep teeth from moving unless you are placing a bonded retainer behind the front teeth. This is something different that is designed to prevent teeth movement, rather than being aesthetic bonding. Hope this helps!

Dental bonding is a very simple procedure to have done. Without photos or X-rays I can’t tell if it’s appropriate in your case. But a lot of patients with small spaces or irregularly shaped teeth are great candidates for bonding.
