I had a breast reduction in Nov '16 and had an area of full-thickness necrosis on one areola. I used silvadene for 6 weeks, and yesterday switched to aquacel. Before showering I removed the aquacel and it had absorbed a yellow-green exudate, which I have had before. In previous weeks I thought this was from the silvadene sitting on my wound, but now that the same color drainage is apparent without the silvadene, I'm worried it's an infection. Contacting PS today, but asking here in the meantime!
