Had a laser genesis facial yesterday. How long should I wait before using my AHA/BHA cleanser & night cream?

The peel I had was a salycitic acid peel, with the laser therapy on my upper face (forehead & cheeks only - not over my stubble!) I also had a small test patch of ipl for pigmentation too

Laser genesis is definitely one of the safest procedures out there. Not only does it NOT thin your skin, it actually makes it thicker by promotion collagen production. It is safe enough to do right before an event as it has no downtime. Hope this helps --

Hives or urticaria are not normally associated with laser procedures. However, hives can occur as allergic reactions to oral or topical medications or foods.  It may be that you were exposed to something that caused an allergy.  I would recommend some antihistamines to calm down the hives, and h...

Laser Genesis is incredibly safe and effective. In fact, a number of my patients have done the day before a big event as it requires no downtime. Schedule an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon or cosmetic dermatologist to be assessed in person and discuss your best laser options.
