I have had my Invisalign attachments on for over 10 years, after a failed Invisalign attempt. Are my teeth going to be ruined?

I have a fear of the dentist which is why I haven’t been - bad I know - but now I’m afraid after so long if I have them removed there will be a lot of damage. What should I do?

Removing these attachments should be quick, easy, painless, and not ruin your teeth. They may be discolored because of the material used for the attachments.

Fear of the dentist is not only common but totally understandable, especially if you have had a bad experience in the past.
It’s not ideal having your attachments on for that period of time. The good news is, that you may not have damaged your teeth. I would highly recommend you give your practice a call to discuss removing them during your next dental check up and clean appointment.
