Broken blood vessel on eyelid. What steps can I take? (Photo)

From the photos, it is really difficult to tell whether the bump is indeed an hemangioma (a blood vessel filled growth) or another kind of growth. However, in general, removal of these kinds of bumps on the eyelid involves little more than numbing with a local anesthetic and subsequent removal by scalpel or curved surgical scissors and mild cautery of the base. In experienced hands, this whole process should literally not take more than one minute to perform and usually heals with an almost invisible mark. In my personal collection of befores and afters, I have before and after photos of a growth on the right eyelid of a young girl in her early twenties that was more than twice the size of yours, which, after being treated in this fashion, healed with a nearly imperceptible mark. From the photo that you have provided, it looks like the spot of concern is a cherry angioma. This can be easily treated with a BBL laser. You can expect the spot to darken over a series of days, then the spot should fall off completely on its own. The procedure has no downtime and the risk of scarring is extremely minimal. Going forward, I would recommend you to complete an in office consultation with multiple board certified experts to discuss your aesthetic goals. This way, they can verify that the red spot is a cherry angioma and determine the best treatment plan for you.

From the posted picture I cannot tell if this is a vein or a skin lesion. Either way most likely microneedle RF or electrocautery at a very low dose should be able to treat this.
