I am in the process of treating my acne scars and have a medical needling with 3mm needle length scheduled (full face). But I have malar cheek implants. Could this pose a problem with respect to a potential infection of the implants? In other words: could the needles reach/touch the bone area (or the implant pocket) and cause an infection? Or are they located on a deeper level. My PS who inserted the implants told me not to worry and to get the treatment done, but I am still worried.
