I’m not sure where to start but I’m a Black man, early 30s, and I am noticing aging in my face. I’m currently on Tazarotene but I’m not sure if this is a waste of money for my issue. Looking for advice on how I can treat my cheek/face lines.

Thanks for the question. The tazarotene is good for your overall skin health but won’t help with this issue. Your facial lines can be treated with either hyaluronic acid filler (juvederm , restylane, or RHA products among many options. A more permanent but also more expensive solution would be to have fat transfer to the face to fill in those areas. If you’re interested in more permanent solutions like the fat transfer, make sure you see a plastic surgeon who can discuss these options with you and offer more than just filler if that is of interest to you.
