I have been suffering for years with traction alopecia, I have tried almost everything. I recently seen info on fue/ fut hair transplant. I would like to know is it to late for me.? I had one Dr tell me that’s it nothing could be done . Then I went to another dermatologist that was giving me cortisone shots with very little success if any, I’m just want to know if anything could help me.

It is never too late to have surgery.  If you are considering surgery it is best to see a doctor in person for a consultation and examination.

It is never too late to have a hair transplant to restore hair lost through traction alopecia from braids, weaves and tight hairstyles. What is important is to ensure the diagnosis is correct since other conditions such as frontal fribrosing alopecia (FFA) must be considered.

This looks like genetic thinning and can easily be treated with a hair transplant. Hair transplants work well in this situation
