I’m 37 and weigh just under 55kgs, 165cm tall. I had my belly button pierced twice in my life, and have had 3 children, youngest is 6. I also had an umbilical hernia repair in May 2019, which I think has made this appear worse since. I tried to get a consult with a surgeon after sending in photos to have it repaired, and was told I’d need a full tummy tuck to fix this. However, I don’t really have a lot of loose skin to tuck and I don’t feel like it’s the right thing for me. How can I fix this?

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

Yes. I do feel that this is happening due to excess skin inside your belly button. Best option is a revision . Cut would be around the entire belly button … resection of skin and closure. It will work.
Go to a board certified plastic surgeon . You will do very well.
