How long should sun be avoided after V Beam treatments?

Im getting my first vbeam for rosacea in a week and I hear sun light should be avoided for awhile after vbeam treatment. Any idea how long?, It seems like a huge hassle to avoid sunlight for a long period of time. If its longer than a week would it be possible to schedule sessions 1 week apart to shorten the length of time Id have to avoid the sun?
