Looking for a skilled doctor in NYC to excise nose silicone (Silikon 1000).

Question

Hi. A doctor injected silikon 1000 in my nose to fill a dent from a previous rhinoplasty. The injection has gotten red. It has been red for the past two years. It is large pea sized and squishy. I have tried steroids to reduce it to no avail. Looking for a skilled doctor in NYC to excise it. I know it's not possible to remove all but I at least want it to look less like I have a blob on the tip of my nose. Thank you!

two very experienced doctors in your geographic area.   I would seek
the counsel of Channing R. Barnett M.D. in Manhattan or Eric M. Joseph in West
Orange, NJ.  Both are frequent
contributors to this forum and have lots of experience with Silikon 1000.  Good luck!

In our experience, silikon1000 may not be removable since it may become intimately involved with the skin. Can you re-ask your question with photos of your concern? Sometimes an area of Silikon1000 overcorrection may be improved with light electrosurgery using a Hyfrecator. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph
