Considering moderate skin laxity of your neck and platysma muscle bands, your options should be procedures with neck skin excision and platysma muscle tightening, platysmoplasty. For minimal neck laxity, you might wish to consider a nonsurgical HA filler necklift. This usually entails skillful injection of an appropriately robust HA filler in certain regions of the posterior neck in order to provide the necessary lift and traction to tighten the front of the neck.
Threadlifts carry a significant risk for the development of skin dimpling, infection and thread extrusion, which is why I gave up performing them many years ago. The use of other relatively expensive approaches, such as fraxel lasers, RF and ultrasound devices unfortunately are backed far more by marketing hype and social media buzz than hard science. So, "buyer beware" when considering these.

Threads are designed to create the appearance of lift, but they do not and cannot actually tighten the deeper tissues beneath the skin. The concept behind a thread lift focuses on pulling the surface layer, which is flexible and expandable by nature. Because of this, any improvement tends to be short-lived.
In a true surgical lift, the approach is completely different. The foundation (the deeper tissues and muscles) is tightened first, and only then is the excess skin refined. This is what creates real, lasting support. When the underlying base is not addressed, the skin alone cannot hold that lift for long.
