Thank you for your question. J-Plasma (soon to be renamed Renuvion) can be used on the surface of the skin if you have fair skin. I generally do not recommend this treatment for isolated areas due to the changes in pigment that can occur relative to the surrounding skin. We do only full face procedures with J-Plasma. If you are looking for a specific treatment for just the lip area I would recommend either micro-needling or an RF based needle device such as Fractora. Each of these treatments can be combined with platelet rich plasma (PRP) which has regenerative growth factors to enhance your results.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
