I had one patient who felt their filler shifted a little to the side when they scuba dived the day after filler was injected in their high cheeks. Granted their is more pressure on the skin under the water and a scuba mask will push more forcefully on the skin than swimming goggles but it might be prudent not to have any excess constant pressure directly on the area injected with a filler such as Juvederm, for 1 -2 days after the filler is injected. The information provided in Dr. Shelton's answer is for educational purposes only and is not intended to constitute medical advice. Hi @Seeshells! I would recommend waiting at least 24 hours after filler injections to the face before using swim goggles. Best of luck to you, Dr. Nima!
I would recommend waiting at least 24 hours after filler injections to the face before using swim goggles. The physician treating you may feel differently though, so I would check your particular doctor and follow their instructions.
