After having severe acne during puberty, I have been left with blotchy and sensitive skin with permanent redness. I decided to try an IPL treatment, again. I had a series of three a few years back with no results (different doctor). A week after treatment I started getting lighter patches. My skin also became very reactive to the Skinoren (azelaic acid 20%). After a month, my skin looked more red and blotchy. After the second treatment, the redness have subsided. But the uneven texture remains.
