Minoxidil 5% after using 1 year, Hairfall started very bad. Any suggestions?

Hello ! I am 32 male, I have been using Minoxidil 5% from 1.5 years and has worked really well for me. My hair growth was very good but from last 1 month I have a very high hair fall and I am losing the hair at a very fast rate. I do not understand what to do, please advise. Thanks

Minoxidil rarely causes hair loss in someone after a year, you may be losing fat genetically and need to see a physician for an assessment.  Best, Dr. Emer.

hair-loss you are noticing, which sounds like the condition Telogen Effluvium, could be caused by a number of factors, including
any recent stresses, change in medications, high fever or illness etc. You should seek a board
certified dermatologist in your area so they can examine your scalp and help
pinpoint the cause of this increased hair-loss.

Do you stop to using minoxidil or you loss your hair when using it? If you quit to use it, starting the hair loss is very normal and expected phenomena .Otherwise you should visit a hair specialist to have an examination to solve out reason for that
