Lumps on Smoker's Lines After Juvederm?

I had Juvederm injected yesterday into my smoker's lines (quit 16 years ago!) and a day later, I am all swollen, bruised and there is absolutely no difference in the lines. I have lumps around the lines now. Will the lumps disappear? Will the smoker's lines fill out or was it done incorrectly? I am very upset about this as it was quite expensive for just four little lines.

Depending on the present volume of your lips, one syringe of juvederm ultra plus xc should be enough to give you the result you are looking for. It is always better to use a little less product at the beginning and add more later if needed rather than having an overdone look that you are unhappy...

I have personally seen the Tyndall effect from a HA filler last for years. It doesn't undergo the same absorption rate as when the filler is placed at the proper depth. Massage may help and if you want it out then go for it. But honestly it probably won't and using hyaluonidase is perfectly safe.
