If you feel you are to large, then you are to large. discuss this with your plastic surgeon and see if it is possible to exchange the implants you have for ones that are more suitable to your frame. Good luck...

Thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear about your disappointment following your breast reconstruction.  Though swelling may account for some increase in relative size to your breasts following surgery, I think it would be wise to speak with your surgeon about your concerns, and remind them of your goals with surgery.  In that way a treatment plan can be created to improve your results

If you feel like you can have a talk about it with your surgeon or potentially their nurse.  Maybe that would be helpful.Three basic forms of breast
reconstruction exist. You can use your own tissue, implants or a combination of
the previous two techniques. Your own tissue can be used in the form of the
DIEP flap, PAP flap, SGAP flap or fat grafting. Implants can be done in one
stage or two stage. Two stage reconstructions are started by placing expanders
at the time of mastectomy. Once they expanders are placed they are able to be
inflated as determined by wound healing. The final type consists of combining
any of the above techniques.
