Whiting can be done with no damage to your temps.  However, if your dentist already ordered the final crowns, It would be great to ask him or her.  It is usually better to bleach before the fabrication of the new crowns so the dentist can match the crowns.

A porcelain veneer or crown is your best option. Whitening will not work on the bonding and since the tooth has had a root canal it would be best to cover the tooth with porcelain. It is weaker since it no longer has nerves.
