My best suggestion would be to return to your surgeon so he or she can take a look and make sure there isn't an infection that needs to be treated by opening the incision or starting you on antibiotics. If you are unable to see your surgeon the perhaps you could see your family doctor or primary physician. Best of luck!
If permanent sutures/threads were used for your ear pinning, it is possible that a thread has moved to the surface of the skin, perforated it a little and caused the development of a hard and sore lump. You must then have the thread removed. However, you should first take a photo of this part and post it here to allow a better assessment. Please also advise how long ago the otoplasty was and whether permanent threads were used.
