I had an lower eyelid surgery about 3 weeks ago, and since then my left eye seems crooked, and it is not aligned with my right eye, and I look crossed eye. I'm scared to death over this, and am worried that maybe a muscle has been cut mistakenly!!! my doctor said that I need to give it at least another 3 weeks and that it is related to swelling of my left eye...Can somebody please help me as Im desperate to know what is going on...

Thank you for your question. You may want to wait a full year or longer to evaluate the surgery after all healing has occurred, or until your surgeon tells you the result is complete. Then you can be evaluated by a board certified surgeon or oculosurgeon, and you may need to go to a university...
Best to return to the eye surgeon who did Strabimus surgery. Also seek in person evaluation with a boarded eye surgeon. It is very important that the possibility of an injury to the VII facial nerve, frontal branch has occurred. But over the internet is not the place to diagnose this...
