Can Exilis skin tightening of the face be used in conjunction with protractional and micro laser resurfacing?

I am scheduled for a dual pro fractional and MCL peel, but am intrigued by the Exilis benefits as well. My primary facial concern is sun damage/acne scarring, but I'd love to add a bit of tightening or lift as well.

In my practice I offer both Exilis and laser resurfacing as well as other non invasive and surgical techniques such as face lift. I find that the best results are always with a combination of techniques. This is so that both the Quantity (tightening) of skin as well as the Quality  (surface pigmentation and texture) are improved. I call this Q2 Facial rejuvenation. The Exilis will often tighten more than the laser but really does nothing to the surface of the skin. The laser procedures (whether they be micro laser, fractional laser or ablative CO2 laser) will all improve the surface texture and pigmentation of the skin. An IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) machine (which many people call a laser but really is not) will improve the pigment and redness of the skin with a minimal downtime but really does nothing to the texture of the skin. You must really see a plastic surgeon who has all of these tools available and can help you pick the right one. It is also best to go the same person so that these treatments can be best organized to give you the best result with least expense and downtime.
