Hi there, Almost a year ago I had a traumatic motorcycle accident that left me with significant facial injuries. I had initial reconstruction at the hospital, and three weeks ago I underwent a rhinoplasty to address breathing issues. It’s still very swollen, but already looks better than before. Looking forward, my main concern is the scarring. My hope is that within five years my scars won’t be noticeable and won’t define my face. Forehead: I suspect my frontalis muscle was sutured incorrectly. I can’t raise my right eyebrow properly, which makes me think laser treatments won’t help much and that surgical revision may be needed. Under my right eye: I think I’d benefit from laser treatment here and would like recommendations. Nose: I believe heavy ablative lasering—or possibly future surgical revision—will be required, but since I just had rhinoplasty I know I’ll need to wait before addressing it. Questions: 1. Do I likely need surgical revision above my right eyebrow? 2. What type of laser treatment would be most effective for deep scarring on my nose?
