Lip Scar from Trauma (1 Year Ago) – Seeking Treatment Advice for This and Temple Scarring. (Photos)

Hello Doctor, I'm seeking professional advice regarding a scar on my upper lip, both outside and inside. The scar resulted from an assault about a year ago. Although the appearance has improved somewhat, I still feel tenderness and a noticeable bump when I touch it with my tongue. It's a constant reminder of the trauma and has been affecting my comfort and confidence. To treat the scarring, I’ve undergone 6 microneedling sessions, with my last session 3 months ago. I've also been consistently using sunscreen and following a gentle skincare routine. My main concern is the lip scar, but I also have some mild acne scarring on my temples, which I’d like to address later. I would really appreciate your expert opinion on the best treatment options moving forward — whether that includes laser therapy, fillers, subcision, or scar revision. I'm open to scheduling an in-person consultation if needed. P.S. A steroid injection has been applied twice to help minimize the bump on my upper lip, but the raised feeling and tenderness remain.
