Okay to remove/replace steri strips (for scar tension) 2x/day to reapply silicone gel? Micropore won't stick to nose (Photo)

Our 2.5 yo daughter landed herself in the ER a couple of weeks ago for a nasal laceration. The wound is closed up now, and we'd like to use something to relieve tension on the scar. Embrace won't work because of its location (and it's actually "L" shaped - and also her nose is tiny), micropore won't stay on well because of the contours of her nose. We were given steri strips for this purpose, but we wanted to be able to remove them frequently to reapply the silicone gel. What do you suggest?

Hard to fully appreciate the lesion, but generally based on size and location, your options would be to inject cortisone into the lesion, or to have it cut out.

There is no cure for this but fillers help and proper moisturizing of the lips like restorsea lip magic and nudeskin lip butter (see emeragecosmetics link) you may need steroids. Best Dr. Emer.
