Was my ptosis undercorrected? 8 months post op from incisional double eyelid surgery (photo)

It has been 8 months since your eyelid surgery. Generally, around 6 months is considered an appropriate period for recovery of the eyes.Whether the ptosis was congenital and its severity can affect whether a perfect correction can be achieved in one surgery or not.In cases where one side has naturally weaker eyelid-opening muscles, these muscles tend to be significantly weaker compared to others, and there is often a family history.Looking at your photos, the double eyelid crease appears to be set quite high. When the eyelid opening is limited, setting the crease too high can make it difficult to properly adjust the eyelid-opening muscles.It may be possible to lower the double eyelid crease line and readjust the muscles to balance the eyelid-opening strength on both sides. However, the final outcome will depend on how the previous surgery was performed and other individual factors.
