At 44, with early jowling and volume loss in the cheeks, an extended deep plane facelift would likely give you the most balanced and long-lasting result. It lifts both the midface and jawline, restoring contour and a more heart-shaped look.
An endoscopic midface lift is less invasive and can help elevate the cheeks and tear troughs — but won’t do much for the lower face.
If you want a subtle refresh now, endo lift is fine. But for a full, more transformative result, deep plane is the better long-term option.

Thank you for your question and I have a subjective opinion on the best approach. A properly performed deep plane facelift should give you repositioning of the cheek, jawline, and neck. It is a comprehensive repositioning procedure. Sometimes additional cheek volume is necessary and this can be achieved through autologous fat or via Sculptra. Most of the time, I don't find this additional step necessary. I am generally underwhelmed by the endoscopic midface lift procedure in terms of results and patient satisfaction; buccal fat pad repositioning really doesn't work very well ( placing sutures in fat pads has very little longevity). It's not as if you "need" either procedure, but the procedure (when properly performed) that will be more rejuvenative is the deep plane facelift
