Question

Hi! I'm 31 and lost about 55 pounds however my arms remain to be the most stubborn part with loose skin. I'm hoping to fix the loose skin with a treatment that doesn't leave a huge scar. Would Renuvion be able to tighten my skin or a short scar/mini arm lift if my main concern is the top of my arms close to my armpit? I really want to avoid doing a full arm lift since I'm really scared of the scar! Sharing pictures of my left + right arms. Thank you!

This photo is really good news, your laxity appears mild to moderate plus residual fat. At 31, your skin quality is a tremendous asset and some tightening and elasticity is certainly on your side. You are therefore likely a good candidate for the less invasive route: liposuction to debulk plus a tightening device like Renuvion or BodyTite, as it avoids the long scar from elbow to armpit.

Make sure to understand what tightening will actually accomplish. Renuvion and BodyTite only provide modest tightening. That is adequate for mild laxity, but not for true hanging skin. Since your issue is higher up your arm near the armpit, a short-scar or mini arm lift uses a short incision placed in the armpit crease to hide it, which works great for higher laxity such as yours. Only true looseness throughout the entire arm would merit a full brachioplasty. A simple pinch test in person will tell you the answer. If you can post a photo of your arm hanging down, we can weigh in further.
