I've heard that you don't want to have dental work done before/after getting fillers. I'm just getting laser gum contouring done (which doesn't cause as much bleeding as a cleaning or extraction I'm told) but the contouring will be done 2 weeks after the filler. Is there a chance that the filler could get infected doing gum contouring so close to it or am I OK? I plan to take a course of antibiotics the morning of the laser gum contouring and maybe for a few days after.
