It seems like I’m experiencing a second shed at around the 8 month mark. Is something like this normal? The transplanted hair is still very wiry. I’m assuming it will get better in the next few months, but assumed the hair would be healthier and fuller by now.

I have to agree that I think you will need at least around 1000 grafts in the area to help with the deep temporal recessions. You need a density of 25 hairs per square centimeter in the front line 2cms and 40 hairs per square centimeter behind that.
