Why doesn't filler work for my tear trough deformity?

When my doctor tries to fill the tear trough it just goes besides the groove, ligament What method or technique can be used for this to be successful? Should a needle be used instead of a canulla? My left tear trough looks fine and the filler fills it. We have also tried cheek filler it does not lift the area

HA fillers may have the advantage of being dissolved if you don't like the result. That said, the dissolving enzyme does not work 100% of the times. Unfortunately, a needle or a cannula cannot be used to aspirate filler material. Wishing you well. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
