If considering facial fat transfer, should you dissolve filler?

Thank you for posting your question here.to me I would rather know the true extent of volume loss by dissolving the filler first. This will allow me to replace it with fat which is more permanent and looks more natural. I also feel that the filler you already have since it's avascular will decrease the survivability of the fat I place should they occupy the same compartment. So preferentially I would say yes but I would recommend that you discuss it with your surgeon. doing fat transfer under the same setting as a rhinoplasty is a non issue but the procedures should be times right and the handling of the fat remains as clean as possible to decrease the chances of infection since the nose carries a lot of bacteria, again I would recommend discussing with your surgeon as they might have a different preference.I hope this helps, best of luck !
