I have done beast fat transfer in 2018, very happy. I'd like to add more fat, was wondering if I could use the same donor area (inner thighs) twice? I am a very thin person and simply do not have enough fat elsewhere. I feel like the first time around surgeon might have 'left' some in there, since even after surgery it did still looked rather volumpious. Would that possibly impact the quality of the fat gathered? 3 years have passed. other areas were used too, but as off right now, i did not gain
Answer: Fat If you have not gained weight, you may not have any donor fat available. Your surgeon could examine you and see what you have.

Answer: Repeat donor site for fat transfer If the same donor site is used, often times the surgeon will encounter scar tissue and the area will bleed more often because the previous scarring will result in the veins staying open and leaking fluid. You are better off using a different donor site if it is available. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast Fat Transfer;Round 2 I appreciate your concerns and it is most certainly reasonable to go for a second round of fat transfer to your breasts to add volume and improve your results. There is no issue using the same previously used doner sites and this should not affect the amount of fat that takes the second time around. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to confirm my advice. Good luck.

Answer: Fat transfer Dear Nice6796, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, it is possible to use same area for multiple liposuctions. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
