Unhappy with lines around eyes and hollowness of undereye area. The undereye to cheek area has such a jump if that makes sense.
Answer: CO2 can help reduce appearance of fine lines around the eyes. Recommend PRP or a small amount of filler for hallowness Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Undereye Filler Hello! My name is Jessica, I am a physician assistant, and one of the providers at Aesthetic Skin in Winnetka and Chicago. This is a great question. Based on your concerns, I recommend treatment with undereye filler. Under-eye filler, also known as tear trough filler, is a cosmetic procedure designed to address the hollow or sunken appearance under the eyes. This area, known as the tear trough, can develop due to aging, genetics, or volume loss, leading to a tired or aged look. During the procedure, a hyaluronic acid-based filler is carefully injected into the tear trough area. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body that helps retain moisture and volume. By injecting filler into this area, it adds volume and structure, which can reduce the appearance of hollows and shadows under the eyes. I hope this helps and best of luck!

Answer: Consider HA Fillers For Periorbital Rejuvenation Be aware that CO2 laser treatments are a destructive modality and, as such, run the risk for scarring, dyspigmentation and prolonged post-treatment downtime. What's more, the problem here is primarily one of volume deficit in the adjacent chees, rather than primary skin laxity. Revolumizing the upper cheek region would be a quick and simple and much less invasive solution to address the under-eye hollowness and lines. If the lines worsen with smiling, a couple of droplets of Botox would likely fix that, as well. You would be wise to consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist and best of luck.
