You have to patience one year after FUE. But After one year. This picture. And I talked with doctor. They recommend finasteride. I am not satisfied。 basically I do not want to take pill because I did FUE. Where is my FUE cost ? I did not FUE if grow up hair by pill. I think this is failure of surgery. What should I do. I am so sad.
Answer: Genetic male pattern hair loss will continue despite surgery. You need to have a long term goal and treatment plan Genetic male pattern hair loss will continue despite surgery. Finasteride (Propecia) also do NOT stop the hair loss process. You need to have a long term goal and treatment plan before having surgery. It is best to discuss your frustration with your doctor.

Answer: Concerned after FUE You are correct in being concerned with the results of your FUE hair transplant procedure. After 1 year post-op, you are seeing 80-100% of your final hair transplant results. Shock loss is a type of hair loss that sometimes occurs after hair transplantation. It involves the surrounding native hairs dying off due to the trauma of surgery. It is mostly preventable if the surgeon is skilled and experienced. Sometimes shock loss is temporary while other times it is permanent. After evaluating your pictures, it appears that you may have some surrounding permanent shock loss, giving the appearance of being "worse off than before." But more importantly, it doesn't appear that any of the transplanted grafts survived the surgery. We would consider this a failed or botched surgery. Unfortunately, this happens due to the lack of skill and experience of the surgeon. I recommend you do some research and find a good, trustworthy hair restoration surgeon in your area. You can meet with s/he for a consultation and get another opinion on the results of your surgery. Regarding the use of finasteride, as doctors we often recommend this medication for the right candidates in order to prevent continued hair loss. It does not 'regrow hair' rather helps to slow continued hair loss that will happen as you age. If you wish to slow further hair loss, than this medication may be a good option for you.

Answer: 1 year after FUE Based on your photos there Is clearly growth in the crown-you didn't mention how many grafts were placed.Proper expectations should have been discussed prior to the procedure-it is very difficult to fill a crown in one procedure-this usually takes several procedures.Additionally you may be experiencing progressive loss of untransplanted hairs which can diminish the overall result. Are you using Propecia and/or Minoxidil? I suggest following up with your surgeon.

Answer: It appears that you may have lost some of the native hair that you had in the center of your crown prior to hair transplant It appears that you may have lost some of the native hair that you had in the center of your crown prior to your hair transplant. However, it is difficult to see where the 2,500 grafts have been placed. The best course of action is to go back to your surgeon and ask for an appropriate explanation as to where the grafts were placed. I also think that it is important that you continue with medical therapy. Seek a resolution with your doctor first.
