Will I lose my butt and curves if I have VSG after BBL?

Question

I had a BBL done ten years ago. I’m 5’5 with naturally curvy hips and natural 40DDD breasts. I've gone through several bouts of depression and gained a ton of weight over the last decade. I am now 235 lbs. I still have a very nice butt but it’s huge. I am now going to get VSG will I lose my butt and curves? I can’t seem to find anyone who had a BBL and then got VSG. It’s usually the other way around.

Hi! This will depend on your tendency of fat distribution. Usually after a weight loss procedure you star loosing body fat in general but there is no guarantee that will loose only in specific areas.

Hey there, once you get your VSG you will start losing body fat constantly, this will affect all of your body's composition by reducing your overall body size. Your natural body fat distribution is going to be very important to improve your chances of maintaining your curvy figure but there is no guarantee. - AL

When we decide to do the VSG we hace to know that we will loose weight from all of our body and we don’t  decide witch part of the body. Im not saying that it will despair completely, but if you exercise and do your diet you will be helping to keep your BBL.
