Dr. Ortiz is an expert in his field. My post op recovery has been absolutely incredible! He is very personable and was willing to answer any questions I had prior to surgery. Dr. Ortiz and his team kept me informed of what was happening as well as post op instructions.

Fantastic doctor! The Obesity Control Center as a whole is a top-of-the-line facility with a very friendly and accommodating staff that goes above and beyond to make your entire trip as simple and easy as possible while also keeping you physically comfortable. I would go back again although I hope I won't need to! I have already referred a few people to the OCC because I had such a great experience.

My experience with Dr Ortiz and OCC was amazing and was five-star service. From pick-up in San Diego to surgery and postop they are completely on top of it. The surgery center was better than anything I've been to in the US and the staff is amazingly supportive with wealth of information to share to make you successful.
