What happens when thread lift disappears?

Thank you for your question. In our practice, we use
Novathreads, which are dissolvable polydioxanone (PDO) sutures used for non-surgical lifting.
When the sutures begin to dissolve, it is likely you will notice the gradual
return of sagging features. However, there is evidence to support that collagen
is produced in the tissues surrounding the threads, which can lead to a longer
lasting effect. While Novathreads are a wonderful non-surgical alternative, it
is only temporary and does require follow up treatments to maintain results. I
usually like to wait 6 weeks between Novathread treatments, but threads can be
added prior to the previous threads completely dissolving.
