Today I had a thread lift ( 2 pcs of meso threads into each cheek). It is only few hours after but I have doubts... (photos)

Bruising & swelling is on both cheeks but on the left side there is a "hole". It looks to me like thread is too tight... May it be only swelling above?

Thank you for your question and I appreciate your concern. This side effect often appears when the threads are placed too superficially. I recommend following up with your doctor to make sure no correction is needed. In most cases, the hollowing will resolve within a few weeks, but it's always best to check with your doctor to be sure that is the case.

Thank you for sharing your question and photos. Dimpling can occur on occasion with thread lifting. It often resolves on its own with gentle massage. Make sure to follow up with your doctor for in-person evaluation. Good luck.

Dear Babs80,
It is a common side effect of threadlifts as the superficial skin is hooked onto the thread. 
A simple massage by your doctor will release the skin off the hooks of the thread .

Dear  babs80,Thank you for your question.These dimples on your cheeks occur as a result of the thread placement. Good news is, this is temporary. It will be much better 4 weeks from now. When the threads are placed too close to the surface of the skin, dimples appear. Small ones that are up towards the cheek bone tend to go away. Deeper indentations that are on the cheek can often be improved by the doctor in the office. If you have any questions, call your surgeon for an evaluation.Good luckdrbader

Sometimes you can have dimples if the thread a little superficial. some of them would resolve by it self, but some needs follow up. There are several why how to take care of those. You need to talk to your doctor.
