Skin burn after laser hair removal in bikini area? (Photo)

I went in for my 2nd laser hair treatment on the bikini area, and had a bit of discomfort after and ended up with this burn looking thing. Not sure if the 'power' of the laser was on a little too high, although it did hurt more than usual, and I'm really worried. Doctor at the laser place said it was a bad reaction but it's killing me to feel uncomfortable and not be able to be intimate. I'm hoping this is normal but if not, I need to go to the doctor ASAP.

Hello and thank you for your question.  Ear hair can be treated with laser hair removal as long as the hair is not blonde or white/gray.  A series of treatments will be required and each treatment is typically spaced 6-8 weeks apart.  Best of luck to you.

If you are interested in doing laser hair removal that will affect any new ingrown hair issue but the old scars can be treated with some lasers like acne scars are treated but I would ask a physician what would be your best options
